A few weeks ago I had to change trains at the Cologne train station and was amazed at the police and security forces in front of the train directly opposite. The doors opened and mothers came out with their children, babies in their arms or children holding hands, even if they were older teenagers, all huddled very close together. 
I cannot describe what I saw in the children's eyes because words cannot express this suffering. 
What did they have to go through in the last few weeks, what's going on in their heads, not only yesterday, today, but also tomorrow?
