Whenever I was reminded of haunting memories and junk from my past or presented with new difficulties, I’d naturally whisper to myself, “Why me?”. After a lot of years of Why Me’s, it was probably time to move on to something new. A new question -- “Since this is what I’m going through now and there’s nothing I can do about it now, what good can come out of it?”

Good did come despite the isolation, rejection, loss and mistreatment. I am on my way... further away... from that past. Peace found me.

Inspired to seek Him,
wherein our future lies.
Enough of lives dim
in the baggages of the heart.
Enough of failure and fear,
guilt and grudge, bitterness and blame,
senseless stigma and shame;
from them we shall depart...
Time to move on
from dreary night unto morning song;
enough of the past.

"Life is full of surprises" is not as clichéd as it sounds, when the unfolding of every moment in every aspect of our lives happens right before our eyes. Do we see it?
