"My name is Richard F. Yates, and I am a professional grandpa and a Holy Fool."

Here is the original script for the audio, although I deviated significantly. Guess I'm not good at sticking to the plan...

"Do you ever have the urge to make stuff? To create? All 'Good' art - according to the common wisdom - is supposed to be DEEP and MEANINGFUL."

"But that's not what my urge to make stuff seems to be about. My creative urge is more of a nervous, twitchy, over-powering COMPULSION to DO SOMETHING. Write, draw, sing, build, fold, connect.... My body - my whole being - has to be GO-GO-GOING at all times."

"Even if all I'm doing is creating piles and piles of meaningless, repetitive NONSENSE... I feel good when I make stuff. My head hurts when I don't... MAKE MAKE MAKE! That's me!"
